Failure to pay a deposit within 14 days of your order confirmation, may result in your order being cancelled, Unless otherwise agreed.
As we are constantly receiving enquires it is advisable to secure your date as soon as possible. Ideally 2-3 months in advance for
wedding and celebration cakes, and as much as possible for all others. However we will try to accommodate where possible.
Cake Transportation: it is recommended that cakes are transported on a flat surface, preferably against the back of the boot and supported to prevent movement whilst travelling. Once the cake has been collected or delivered. Viv's Vision Cakes cannot be held responsible for any interference or damage to the cake. A signed disclaimer will be provided to sign to say you acknowledge the cake is completed to your satisfaction on collection or delivery.
Storage: Cakes must be stored in the box provided until you wish to display, on a flat surface in dry cool room away from direct sunlight and moisture to remain in good condition. DO NOT PUT IN FRIDGE - This will cause moisture to attach to the icing and could ruin the decoration. Your cake will be at its best for up to 3 days after your event, and left over cake must be stored in an airtight container.
None Edible Items: Please note some cakes may contain non edible elements. Tiered cakes may contain dowels for support which should be removed before consumption. Toppers or flower decorations may contain wires, this will be on the disclaimer on collection or delivery.
Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements: Gluten Free cakes can be provided. However please note that although cakes may be Gluten free, they will have been prepared in an area where these ingredients have previously been used and may contain the slightest of traces. We also use Alcohol in some decorating techniques, please let us know if this is not suitable.
Please be aware that if you are not happy with your cake, the complaint must be with in 24 hrs of delivery and whole cake must be returned.
If cake is found not to be of standard then a refund will be given in full. If the cake has been eaten and only partial cake is left then no refund
will be given. We take videos of cakes on set up at venues to assure us that the cake was left in perfect order, we cannot be responsible once
the cake has been set up and left at venue. So please make sure guests take care when near to cake.
